Film Photography Baguio to host print swap and photo walk

Film Photography Baguio

What better way to end the year for Filipino film photographers than to have a intimate gathering at the one of the coldest places locally – Baguio City. As such, the Facebook page Film Photography Baguio invites you to take part in their analogue print swap and photo walk this weekend.

The event will start with a photo walk on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 7:00 a.m. The meet-up place will be at the Mansion House in Baguio City. This activity gives the participants chance to see the picturesque areas of the “summer capital of the Philippines,” as well as to meet their fellow film photographers and learn from them. In addition, there will be contests during the event so do sign up on the link below.

Apart from that, there will be a print swap. Simply bring an 8R print of your photograph and have it swapped with your other enthusiasts. One rule to this activity though – MAKE SURE YOUR PHOTO IS SHOT WITH FILM!

If you’re headed up north for the weekend, we suggest that you drop by La Union before or after going up to Baguio for some much needed vitamin sea. Let us know how it goes and do send us your pictures. Happy shooting!

Visit the official Facebook page of Film Photography Baguio or the event page for more information.

The Film Traveler

Let's shoot film!

  1. Thank you so much for featuring the event. We just saw this today. We were joined mostly by students from various schools in Baguio City and participants from the UK and Japan. There were almost 20 participants, which made us very happy. Further proof that film photography is definitely alive here. Three participants won one roll of film each and will be awarded certificates soon. Thank you again!
